This Cookie Policy explains how Gofare uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you use it.

2. Cookies We Use

Stripe.jsEssential

Payment processing and fraud prevention. Stripe may set cookies when you interact with the checkout form. These are required for secure payment processing.

Session cookiesEssential

Maintain your session while browsing the site (e.g., language preference). Deleted when you close the browser.

Own measurement (no cookies)Analytics, cookie-free

We count visits and clicks (for example, on WhatsApp) in aggregate, without cookies, without storing your IP address and without identifying you. We respect your browser's Do Not Track signal. To tell visits apart it uses your browser's temporary session storage (sessionStorage), which is deleted when you close the tab; it is not a cookie and does not identify you.

3. How to Manage Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies

Note: Disabling essential cookies may prevent the payment system from working correctly.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Stripe and Google may set their own cookies. These are governed by their respective privacy policies:
